The story this website tells is completely made up. Sans Serif, a typeface that was birthed during the French Revolution. Who was once a serif typeface, met great sacrifice and heroism to save fellow troops. All at a cost - a cost of his serifs. Cut off in battle San's serifs were sliced off leaving him Sans Serif. The hero image of this website showcases the sleek corners and dimensions that Egyptian Caslon that Sans Serif is known for today.
